I went jogging in an open park today. It is called 'Johnson Road Park'. There were very few people in it, and actually this whole city has a very small population. When people meet up each other, they all say 'hello'. I guess it is because people here are very few, and it is relatively easy to see anyone on streets. When you meet someone, you will feel surprised and would like to greet even though you are strangers.
I went jogging in a long trail with woods and fields around. I saw some horses in fences, and geese, ducks, frogs, turtles in the river, and also robins, hocks and nightingales flying around in the sky. I could only hear birds' singing and wind blowing. There were no high voices or noise at all. The sky is so clear and blue, and the grass is so clean and green.
You can never imagine such a tidy and quiet place is part of a main city in a state. Maybe you think it is too isolated from highly developed cities, like New York City or LA. But the tranquillity of life is hard to find. |
