These days, I went to Washington DC for a short tour. There are so many things  that surprised me and I really had a blast.  Almost all the museums, monuments and memorials are free which encourages people to visit and get to know more about American history and culture.

What amazes me, is that we could go to have a short visit to the White House and the Capitol Hill if we applied for it a couple of months in advance. I have a friend whose friend works in the Capitol Hill as a congressman, helped us with the tickets to the Capitol Hill and the House of representatives. But unfortunately, we applied for the tickets to the White House 2 weeks late so we missed it. Of course, all the tickets are free to public.

We also went to the Library of Congress, and the Supreme Court where there was a lecture open to public introducing how three branches work and how the Judge of the Supreme Court was chosen.

The lecturer is a secretary in the Supreme Court, a nice and humorous woman. She asked us to raise whatever questions we were interested, and if we could ask her questions that she could not answer, we would win a prize from the Supreme Court. But of course, she knows everything about the Judicial system, from how the Judge was chosen to the meaning of every statue or figer on the building of the Court.

The Library of Congress is a big temple of knowledge, full of wisdom and intelligence inherited from wisemen in the history. It looks solemn and glorious, and comfortable and neat as well.

There are many visitors everyday to the library so we are isolated from the section for the real readers here. We could only have a look at the giganic bookshelves and reader's tables from downview on the top of the building. I got a 'passport to knowledge' in this library and hopefully could use it to search for information online.

I have enjoyed  my   English   corner  with  my   classmates  at  WSI   this   afternoon.
I  also   have  met  several  girls  at  several  times.
So  we  have  talked  happily  each  other.
We  also   have   known  that  it    will   be   a   party   on  Thu.  next  week.   
The  teacher   who   named   Cat     will  organize   the  party.
We  will   eat  some  delicious  food  at  Dongzhimen  because  she   likes   hot  food.
I  think   many   person   want  to join  the  party.

Last saturday, all of my family visited The summer place,and we row a boat at the Kunming Lake.
At sunday, we went to The sam's supermacket, bought lots of delicious food and fruit.
A happy weedend!

The Snow-covered plateau，my heart the Holy Land，please accept my sincere wishes and prayers，we have a strong motherland behind，we are family,I hope you get out of the pain as quickly as possible.
